I Viamap bygger vi fremtidens landkortløsninger til websites, og vi har brug for endnu en stærk software udvikler til vores team.

Du kommer til at arbejde sammen med vores andre stærke udviklere om at udvikle, bygge og designe digitale kort. Du vil deltage i hele udviklingsforløbet, og der bliver brug for dine evner, erfaring og gode idéer.

Dine opgaver bliver bl.a. programmering af nye løsninger, kodeoptimering af eksisterende løsninger, løbende forbedring af vores DevOps-opsætning og driftsunderstøttelse. Vores nuværende løsninger, baseret på OpenSource, er primært udviklet i Python og TypeScript med backend baseret på Linux og Postgis. Vi benytter en moderne serverless arkitektur på AWS.

På nuværende tidspunkt bruges vores produkter blandt andet til større byggeudviklingsprojekter og er især populære inden for ejendomsbranchen, men målet er, at Viamap skal nå ud til langt flere kundesegmenter.

Om dig
Du har en IT-uddannelse på bachelor- eller kandidatniveau. Du har overblik og arbejder struktureret og fokuseret. Derudover forestiller vi os, at du:

• Har solid erfaring med udvikling af produkter
• Er selvstændig og tager ansvar for dit arbejde
• Taler og skriver dansk og engelsk
• Har et højt bundniveau og sætter en ære i at levere høj kvalitet
• Erfaring med internationale projekter
• Kan designe og estimere udviklingsprojekter

OpenSource software developer

In Viamap we build the map solution for websites of the future, and we need yet another solid software developer for our Team.

You will be working with our team of powerful developers to develop, build and design digital maps. You will participate in the entire development process where your skills, experience and good ideas are needed.

Your tasks will include programming new solutions, code optimization of existing solutions, continuous improvement of our DevOps setup and operational support. Our current solutions, based on OpenSource, are primarily developed in Python and TypeScript with a backend based on Linux and Postgis. We use a modern serverless architecture on AWS.

At present, our products are used in major development projects within the property industry and are especially popular in the real estate industry, but the goal for Viamap is to reach far more customer segments.

About you
You have an IT education with a bachelor’s or master’s degree. You work structured, focused and with an overview. In addition, we imagine that you:

• have a solid experience in product development
• work independently and take responsibility for your work
• are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• have knowledge of Danish
• have a high standard level and take pride in delivering high quality
• have experience with international projects
• can design and estimate development projects

 

About the team
You will be part of an ambitious team. We help and spar with each other, and our working day is characterized by high spirits, great commitment and an informal tone. There is good energy in the office where new inputs and new ways of approaching tasks are appreciated. We work in a dynamic and flat organizational structure where the distance from idea to action is short. Our office is located in Copenhagen S (South).

Viamap, part of Mølbak Surveyors A/S, is the market leader in digital map solutions, distance calculations and geo-spatial data.

If you have been looking for houses in Denmark during the last few years, you have probably come across our product, since most major real estate agents, such as Danbolig, Nybolig and EDC, already use Viamap’s maps to show the location of offered properties.
